Wanting a baby with the love of my life

So this guy I have known for 8 years now . And I seen him a couple times in person but I know I want to spend my whole life with him . But all these years he has recently have a daughter with someone else and I'm crushed and hurt . But we still continue to talk . I love him a lot . And I don't know how to tell him That I want a family with him . 😔❤️.
