What to expect? 1st⏱Mom to be🤔

Hey To all my Mamaa Bears❣ this is my 1st pregnancy and  I wanted to ask what should I expect on my first visit to my OBGYN?

They ask family health history. Weight you, blood test,  pee in a cup, blood pressure. Check your cervix and get an ultrasound to see how far along are you (:

Be ready to pee in a cup during every appointment. This is how it went for me: physical, pap smear (if needed), medical history (you and the father), blood work, find out due date (if you don't know), hear the heartbeat of your baby, general pregnancy facts (food do's and dont's). It has been over 2 years and this is all that I can remember.

It depends how far along you are I believe. 
Probably take a urine sample to confirm the pregnancy, ask you questions etc. all docs are different but my first appointment was mainly confirming my pregnancy. Then I went back when I was farther along. I'm now 9 weeks and have my next appointment at 12 weeks. 👶🏻

They did a ultrasound to figure out exactly how far along I was and that was about it. Talked to the doctor asked some questions, they scheduled the next appointment and I left. I think they may of drawn some blood to I don't fully remember.

They'll get family and personal medical history from you and the baby's father, take a urine sample and listen for fetal heartbeat. It's a lot of talking :) congrats!
