Red dye VS blue dye

Hey ladies. Just wanted to put this out there. I am no expert by any means but figured this might help someone else out! I had two faint blue line tests two days in a row then decided this morning to take a red dye test as I am 1 day out from when my period should start and it was a flat straight negative. The same thing happened several times to my friend with blue dye tests so she decided to get a blood test to see and it came back negative, which is so frustrating bc all her tests pretty much lead her to believe she was pregnant. So just be careful using the cheap blue dye tests as they seem to be a bit missed leading!! Again I'm sure this won't happen to everyone but figure I'd share two similar stories to all the ladies.
