Acne struggles

Hello! I'm not experiencing the "best skin of your lifetime" experience, I've been using a target brand of benzoyl peroxide gel and it has been crap. I know benzoyl peroxide is safe for pregnancy, I checked with my nurse practitioner but I'm wondering if there's a certain amount that's safe or if it's overall safe? I just bought the rapid clear stubborn acne by neutrogena. The cleanser is 10%, spot gel 10% and then a leave on mask at 2.5%. I won't use the mask and gel together but I'm just wondering if anyone else has tried this or has any advice on what to use? Thanks. :)
