What do flutters feel like?

Layah
I'm a FTM and im 14+2... I'm feeling something in my lower abdomen but I don't know if these are baby movements lol. It's a.... Not a painful (like ouch) sensation but a.... Kind of like something's poking me from the inside? I haven't put my hand there to FEEL if my little person is poking me... I just feel the random pain. Lmao I'm terrible at describing things, I hope that made at least a little sense to you

I think it feels like whe. You have a twitch in your eyelid from not getting enough sleep, but in your stomach, way down low where you feel period cramps.

Gas and baby flutters were different in my experience. Baby I seldom felt that early on, but gas has been pretty common from the beginning of my pregnancy so I was able to distinguish them

Update: Thanks for the responses. I think what I was feeling last night wasn't flutters then😂😂 So it feels kinda like a muscle spasm? Hmm I'll be looking out for that. Thanks guys

Most pain in the uterus stretching and some are worse than others. Hope you feel baby soon!

Baby usually can't cause pain that early. Legs aren't big or strong enough to hurt you...yet. Lol. Usually feels like a butterfly flapping around in there. Very gentle. Then when they get bigger, they PUSH you super hard and THEN it starts to hurt :)

I think when you feel the baby you'll know. People will tell you you're still too early to feel the baby, and that's usually true, but everyone is different. I felt the baby at almost 14 weeks and it was a flutter- or like a fish as another said. Definitely no pain or poking. Didn't really start feeling the baby again until about 19/20 weeks ❤️
