What to wear

Question

What did you wear during labor?. I just have no desire to be completely naked. I was thinking about doing a front zip sports bra so skin to skin time would be easy, but curious what other people wore?

My hospital has you take everything off and put on of their gowns on. Honestly once labor starts you could care less what you are wearing plus you get pretty messy so it's better to ruin on of their gowns vs your own clothes.

The last two were sections so a hospital gown but the first time, honestly I had it all planned out and packed a tankini (used the birthing pool there) and a loose nightie and when it came down to it I didn't give a toss and I ended up naked. I am not the kind to even wander naked in front of my partner but I was sooo uncomfortable I just didn't want anything on my skin.

My plan is to labor in boy shorts/ underwear and a sports bra... bringing a robe too if I leave the room to walk around! Definitely using my old clothes or buying something cheap so I can toss it rather than worry about removing birthing juices ;)

With my son I wore the hospital gown... This time I bought a cheap Walmart robe because it covers my back side and my front yet easy to move and adjust for monitors

I just had a Kmart crop top/ sports bra that cost me like $5 so I didn't care if it got ruined. Was so comfy and easy to move out the way for skin to skin

They made me undress when I got there but I kept my bra and my boyfriends shirt on. My tip is don't wear something that you don't want to get dirty. I was throwing up and it was all gross during labor. Lol
