4 weeks pp belly after c section

I am 4 weeks pp from having a c section.  I had baby on July 21st. I had gained 45 pounds with this pregnany.  I lost 20 in the last 4 weeks and have about 25 until I am back at my pre pregnancy weight. I have a slight fat ledge over my c section incision. Will this go away? I have heard some women say it stays forever and others say it goes away.
