Gestational Hypertension Test??

Question

So I'm 36w5d and yesterday at my doctors appointment I got my blood pressure checked and she said it was elevated, so I have to go back on Monday and be tested for gestational hypertension. The only good part about this is I will be delivering my son sooner. When you have high blood pressure at least once, is it always going to stay there?? Or does it go away once you deliver?

Mine has gone up and down just because you have one doesn't mean u will have another I have gestational hypertension/ pre e with all mine during this pregnancy my bp was high until 20 weeks then normal for about 10 weeks and now every time I go in it creeps higher and higher every pregnancy is different with my son it was elevated the whole time and with my oldest daughter it was normal and then I went pre e over night
