Does anyone else's newborn cry/scream as they are pooping?

My LO grunts when she poops, has gas, sleeps- she basically sounds like a body builder all day long lol...or an angry animal at a petting zoo! She almost 4 weeks now and it used to keep us up all night but now we don't even hear it!

Doctor told me their colon is the size of a pen so this is why babies fuss and cry when trying to have a bowel movement mand/or have gas

Mine grunts and fusses and turns all red but doesn't cry. My doctor told me that it's normal to fuss bc they r still learning how to go basically. My baby dos cry with gas and it looked like he was trying to poop but turns out it was gas if that helps.

Mine grunts and starts to fuss when she's pooping or farting. Bicycle kicks help a lot I've noticed. She's EBF
