Packing Baby formula on the airplane?

Question ! I use powder baby formula for my baby and we are flying to FL, and I'm nervous about goin through security with it ?Can we just bring our regular formula container and let it to through Xray?

Yes you can bring formula and breast milk. Look up the regulations online! It depends on if it's liquid or powder. I was researching it for breastmilk as I'll be flying with my baby in a few months and it had info on formula too.

I haven't personally traveled with a baby, but I distinctly remember seeing a dad alone with a toddler and an infant in the airport in Puerto Rico during our vacation a few years ago who had to discard a bottle that was over 3 ounces. I felt so bad for him and thought that was ridiculous.  I would get the rules right from the TSA website if you can and have them with you in case you get any pushback.

Is there any way you could just buy it when you get there? I would mostly  be paranoid it would pop open and make a big mess haha
