Implanon/nexplanon?

Question

For any of you ladies that have had thus type of birth control- I got it put in almost two weeks ago. I've heard terrible horror stories of people bleeding for,2months straight and gaining a ton of weight, has this happened to any of you? I haven't bled since I got it put in even though I was supposed to get my period a week ago. Just nervous because of all the bad reviews

I bled a week or two after it was placed for about 2 weeks but it was super light. I have gained no weight at all. I was so nervous to get it because of the same horror stories but seriously this is the best birth control I have used. Good luck!

I gained maybe 5 pounds on it and didn't have a period at all until I got it removed. I had it in for a year a half. Got it removed because hubby and I were ready for our 2nd baby. My sister has it also. She's gets periods about every other month and hasn't gained any weight on it.
