I've been vegan since the beginning of May. I became vegan cold turkey (lol) for ethical reasons after seeing an hour long YouTube video about veganism. The first month or so I ate a lot of processed vegan foods and eventually began cooking more and eating more fruits and veggies. I also cut out soda and I don't eat fast food as much. I lost 11lbs! Im 25- I haven't been this weight since I was a teen! The best part is I wasn't trying to lose weight (I wasn't even working out for the first several lbs) and I feel like I'm eating as much as I want. I don't feel deprived and I love the way I eat now. So...basically, eating healthier actually makes you a healthier person...imagine that! 😋
