Taking breast pump to hospital??

Question

Anyone taking their pump to the hospital??  Not sure if I should bring it or not??  I'll have a scheduled csection so I'll be there for at least 3 days.  Thoughts? 😊

Most hospitals have them there so you don't need to, if you don't want to cart it around with everything else just call and ask if it's an option. But 99% of the time you won't need it....it'll just be something more to drag back with everything else.

I was going to so I can get help from the lactation nurse to be sure I'm using it correctly!

I had a csection with my first, and my milk didn't come in until I was home on day 4. So I didn't need it. Just needed to nurse my baby as often as he wanted or every 2 hours or so.

Check with your hospital. If they provide one, you can leave the one you have.

my doctor said to bring it that way they can help me if I can't figure out how to use it properly.
