hickey? red marks?? help!

My boyfriend was kissing my neck tonight like he usually does. I've never gotten a hickey from it before he was a little rougher than usual but, I have this patch of red marks! What is it? How long is it going to last? And will it bruise???

It's a hickie. it won't bruise it'll just be there for a few days.

My boyfriend & I don't really go at it hard enough to leave hickies anymore, but when we use to I would get the exact same marks & they would go away within the next day or a couple of hours. I think it all depends on how sensitive your skin is.

Hickeys look different depending on how they are done ive had/given ones where they are marks  where i drew blood to the skin but not literally drew blood ones that are just big bruises and ones that are both so it looks like a hickey but can be passed as scratching yourself to hard because ive done that
