Painting while pregnant

So today I spray painted a rocking chair that was given to us by my husband's grandmother. My dr told me it was fine as long as I did it outside and wore a mask (which I did, gloves too). I took frequent breaks and made sure I was turned away from the mist when I sprayed. But now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have done it and just waited for my husband to do it. I am a teacher and go back to work next week so I wanted it done! I'm 32 weeks and 3 days. My dr said its okay so I don't know why I'm so worried. Has anyone else done any painting?
