Ovulation

I just got off the pill in June and hubby and I are TTC...still haven't been able to figure out my ovulation day ( I have been using opk) and m not sure I have actually even ovulated yet. This is month number 3 and first time I have experienced (for sure) EWCM, however. I am only on cd 6 and my last cycle was 33days long. Has anyone ever experienced such a early fertile window with a longer cycle? It doesn't make sense according to textbook, but I'm learning there are no black and white answers...
