Do you see primary or obgyn?

Who do you go to get your annual Pap smears? What age did you start going? How do you schedule the appt? Any tips?

Since I hit puberty

& I call the main line and say I'd like to make an appointment. Easy peasy.

**as a side note, don't have sex before your appointment or they may have you come back and do it all over again.

I've only seen an obgyn once in my life and that was during my c section. All well woman care is done by my family doctor. My prenatal care was with midwives.

I go to a gyno for my PAP and annual exam, my pcp for my regular physical. I've been getting PAPs since I was 16

I've had them done by my pcp since age 20 or so (she promped it at an annual physical, no reason not to) and I didn't see an ob until I was pregnant.

My family doctor happens to have 2 gynos there so i get my pap done there just because its less of a wait time then the actual obgyn ive only gotten one as they dont do it for people under 21 and i just turned 21 lol i was going to the gyno a couple years from like 14-16 or 17 because i thought i was still supposed to go even tho i wasnt getting paps done but then stopped because there wasnt much point... I just call and say i need to schedule a pap appointment then they tell me the next available appointment and then i say thatll work lol

Ive gotten a pap ever since i was about 15/16 i go to my gyno i just call the office and ask to be seen for a yearly exam then pick a time and date
