I need advice about this problem I have

So I have know this guys since high school I lost my  virginity to him now ever since we started have more sex now I  like him a lot we doesn't want to be in a relationship right now because in house arrest and Somebody in my family work in the police  founded out that he is charged with attempt sex offense 2nd degree, sex offense 2nd degree and indecent exposure . They told me it's really bad. He hasn't told me we have been hangout for 7 months. I don't know why he hasn't told me that . I don't know what to do I fell in love with him
