When is the earliest but safest time you can go into labor ? / how many weeks is marked for okay to go into labor and baby be healthy ?

But if you are wondering what's the earliest week for survival I think it's 24-26 weeks. Before then I don't think doctors will do anything to keep baby alive. Too many possible issues/complications. And simply too small to operate on.

My friend went into labor at 26 weeks and he's fine but there is so much that can go wrong before 38 wks

I was induced at 34 weeks as part of a study to see if it was safe for baby. Her intestines developed on the outside of her body so the amniotic fluid is bad for her intestines.  My daughter needed to be on a breathing machine for 3 weeks. So I'm thinking to stay pregnant as long as you can is the best way to go. 36 weeks sounds like the earliest I would ever want to deliver again.

Most ob's will try to stop labor before 35 weeks but of course full term is the best.

They say 36-37 weeks but also keep in mine that due dates are an estimate be can be wrong up to two weeks either way. So 36 may actually be 34.... Or 38....
