Opinions on getting the tdap shot??

My dr has not mentioned the shot at all, just wondering if everyone receives the shot or do some choose not to take it

I got it. So did my husband, my MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL, and anyone else that plans on seeing my baby for the first few months.

I naturally have no immune system, so we are being cautious.

How far along are you? I had mine early third trimester, I want to say 28 weeks.

It takes two weeks for the antibodies to form
Which you pass on to baby when they are born.So it's important to get it before baby is born.id suggest no later than 35weeks

You can choose not to. My doctor just mentioned it to me at my 30 week appointment. I'm going to get it & so is everyone else that wants to see my daughter.

I moved. So my first doctor had told me they would like to do it the next appointment. But then I moved. So I asked my new doctor and he gave it to me there. I believe I was 28 weeks.

My doctor briefly mentioned I would be getting shots. Then I went in for a check up and the nurse just said oh you get a shot today. I was going to question it but it was so fast that I said ok. I'm glad I got it though :)
