How did you meet your SO? How'd they take the news?

My boyfriend and I met in January and on our first date we talked about what we fight for. Hearing him talk about how everything he's done- getting into the army, getting his real estate license, etc is all so he can prepare for his family -was like coming home. I knew that day that he was a keeper and I wanted to see what life could bring us if we did it together. Fast forward 8 months and I was pretty scared to tell him I was pregnant. He's traditional and always talked about marriage first. He instantly high fived me and said "we've got this". Told almost all his friends and family within 3 days and keeps saying how excited he is💜💚❤️🍪🍕 Ok your turn!!

I met my husband 4 years ago. We were sophomores in HS (yes we are very young). I saw him in class and decided I was going to try to talk to him. I was new to the school so I didn't know anyone. Our first 'date' we sat in my garage watching ghost hunters and from then on we have been inseparable. 
Fast forward 4 years, we have already been married for over a year and had been TTC for 13 months. I thought I couldn't get pregnant, I have PCOS & I was really sick, more than usual, and so I decided to test. My husband was upstairs so I decided I might as well see what it says. Fully expecting a negative, as soon as I set the test down on the counter to wait the 3 minutes. 2 very dark lines popped up. My heart started beating really fast. I sprinted upstairs, fell on my face, ran into the bathroom (he was on the toilet). & yelled 'I'm pregnant!!!' He had a smile come across his face and he asked to see the pregnancy test and told me to take a few more so I did. & 5 tests later, we realized it's really happening. We are now 7 weeks 4 days. So excited for our little miracle.

My husband and I met when we were 15. We had mutual friends and we're hanging out at a roller skating rink. We kept looking at each other but he was to nervous to come talk to me so I skated past him and grabbed his butt. ☺️ that got us talking and things clicked. He was again, to nervous to ask for my number but I felt something different with him and didn't want to never see him again (we went to different schools) so I went up to him and handed him my number. We started dating soon after. We had a lot of break up and make ups since we were so young but we got pregnant at 17 and tried to focus on making is work for our family. It was tough but we pushed through it and now at 24, he is in the military supporting us, we are married and expecting baby #2 in April. 😍

I met him 6yrs ago while we both served in the military. I avoided dating him for 5 of those yrs so we had been best friends until I couldnt help but notice how persistent he was & wasnt letting up after 3 of those 6yrs trying to date me. After 4mths of dating we got engaged, married 3mths after that, pregnant week before marriage, & found out a week after he deployed which was a week after we got married. Whew!😏. I took a video of letting him know how I had bern feeling & the things that had taken place that made me so sure & when I saw the BFP & danced in my bathroom. I sent him the video during FT & took a video of his reaction. It was great! Iwouldn't  change a thing.

I met my husband in college, freshman year, 2006. We started dating in the spring, and got engaged 7 months later. 2.5 years later we got married, two weeks after graduation.  Lived off of canned soup while in grad school, took a risk and moved to DC. After three years of TTC, we are 8 weeks pregnant.
Our struggle with infertility led us into many dark moments and tested our marriage.  There were times when we both ached for a child so much, and we felt so helpless. We even had a failed IUI.  
I had been so sick for days and we finally bought a pregnancy test. My husband didn't believe it, so I bought another, a digital one of a different brand.  He still did not want to believe it - afraid that they were false positives. 
Because of PCOS, I have irregular cycles.  I gave up trying to chart and when we went to the OBGYN, and she performed an ultrasound declaring that the baby could be as old as 10 weeks.  "10 weeks?" My husband exclaimed.
We had our ultrasound (~7weeks) and my husband jumped to his feet, clapped his hands on the sides of his head, and the tears came out.  We are so blessed, and he is in tune with my body. Best husband ever.

My DH & I meet 8 years ago at a funeral visitation. His friend tragically died, I was the funeral director and embalmer that took care of his friend and family during this time.  A friend of his (an older man) was chatting with me and my husband came and talked to this guy and we briefly met. The older man was like hey y'all would be good together. He said give me your number and I'll give it to him.  Well I was just getting out of a long term relationship but decided to give it a shot. 3 days later he called.  Got married 2 years later. Had our wedding pictures in a cemetery  by a tombstone with our last name on it (and it was a heart shaped rock!! Aw! Ha) and we drove away in a hearse!

With DD he was excited and with #2 he is as well I don't think it's hit him yet! 😄

I met my SO almost 12 years ago, he has raised my 2 boys as his own and hesitated on the decision to have one together for fear of them feeling like they weren't enough. 
He is so sweet and supportive. We have gone through 2 MCs so when I told him this time he got excited as the tests were darker than they had ever been and he is nervous and excited at the same time

I met my husband Late June 2009. We met at a bar through a mutual friend. I was 18 at the time, just graduated, he was 31. We started spending time together immediately. He really helped me get through a lot of things, and i helped him.
Found out that August we were expecting. I thought he would leave, and i was prepared for that. He didn't. He was excited. He moved in with me and my family in September. And he proposed that January. We moved into our own place late the following year. 
We now have a 6 year old boy, a 3 year old boy, finally were able to get married last Halloween. We are expecting baby number 3 now. And could not be more happy with our relationship. He has been amazing to me, and both of us have stepped up to help the other through some serious problems. 
I love my husband, and would not change a thing about how we met or our relationship.

Met my husband August of 2013. We met online and as we were coming out of he restaurant on our first date someone asked "when's the wedding?"

Fast forward to February 2014, we got engaged and bought a house. November 2014 we got married.

We decided to start trying for a baby this year. And we got pregnant in February. We lost the baby at 12 weeks (missed miscarriage) in May. And got pregnant again last month. 7 weeks today and hoping it sticks. First ultrasound Monday.

We met in September 2015, in court. We both had traffic violations(he ran a stop sign and I ran a red light). We exchanged numbers and then after txtn for awhile, in November we met up for drinks. Had one to many(I don't drink at all mind you) and we had a sex.. I woke up naked and being cuddled early in the morning, around 5am. Got dressed and left without a word, he msged me as soon as he awoke and asked for another date. We moved in together the following march. Sadly I moved out last week because he doesn't want a family, he asked for an abortion which I refused.

I met my boyfriend on army basic training...I know fraternizing is extremely frowned upon, but after the course was over, we knew we couldn't stay away from each other! We've been inseperable ever since. Fast forward to last week when I told him I was pregnant.. I wrapped up a onesie and the two positive tests in tissue paper and handed it to him while we sat outside on my lunch break at work. He was soooo happy and is still overjoyed! As am I, but I am way more scared and nervous than him, which is funny because we both thought it would be the other way around :)
