Can swelling cause itching?

My hands and feet have been driving me nuts with how itchy they are. I've been tested for chloestasis and I don't have it. Now I don't know what's going on and my dr kind of brushed it off. I thought maybe it's the swelling but I'm not sure if swelling can do that.

I've been having this same issue.  Been tested and don't have any medical issues.  My doctor says to use cream because she thinks it's dry skin and now my husband puts cream on my legs and feet every night before I go to bed.  This helps so much!

Sure! If you are swollen your skin is being stretched tight and it can definitely get itchy.. Just like as your belly and breasts grow they can get itchy. Keeping the skin moisturized could help a bit!

Lies i tested negative my first round then positive my 2nd round of blood cholestasis levels elevate and change constantly. My dr never even took the risk . especially since the blood work takes long the change happens furthur along u get i was put on meds amd it helped thats wen they knew to diagnose me

You can get body lotion for itchy skin, like for eczema. I like gold bond lotion, it helped.
