Inducing labor
I'm 39+2 weeks (measuring 41) and my midwife won't do a membrane sweep because I was GBS positive. Baby boy is already estimated 9 lbs. my due date is Aug. 30th and if I go past, she won't induce me until the 6th. She said she thinks he could weigh more than 10 lbs by then. I'm miserable and don't know what else to do to try to speed up labor. I've been taking evening primrose oil, I've been bouncing on a birthing ball, I've tried walking but I can't for long because my feet swell so bad and sex is extremely painful at this point so that's not gonna help. Anyone have any tips on how to get labor started and get baby out?
