Has anyone tried to get a new job whilst in your early pregnancy?

I got a new job at 7 weeks pregnant and didn't end up telling them until I was like 24 weeks lol. It's really none of their business and even though they technically can't discriminate, they will and you just won't know about it until they give someone else the position you wanted.

I wouldn't tell them. It's personal life. But just make sure you can make it through the probation period before you have the baby, if you want to keep your job.

I'd wait until you're employed to announce. They technically can't discriminate due to pregnancy but some places are not honest and fair and won't hire due to a baby coming. Once you get the job, announce to protect yourself, if they try to fire you due to pregnancy learn more about your rights

I'm 16 and a half weeks and I've been interviewing and applying all kinds of places, I'm also with a temp agency. Haven't landed anything quite yet (I'm also showing enough to where if I'm in anything fitted it's obv) but the temp agency knows and there haven't been any issues w job placements. If you're early on I'd say don't worry about mentioning it. But if you're showing then I'd say just make sure you're qualified for the position and it's requirements :) by law, they can't deny u employment because of pregnancy.
