Getting pregnant after delivery

I keep having dreams that at my 6 week post pardum checkup instead of getting a prescription for birth control pills, I get more prenatal vitamins. I don't honesty know how l feel about it.

I know my husband wouldn't care though that's the thing.

Has anyone gotten pregnant shortly after delivery?

What about those breastfeeding moms out there, since there's a chance breastfeeding helps ward off ovulation?

I think I'm crazy but one day I'm excited about having my babies close, and other days I'm happy I'll be breastfeeding. I guess I'm just looking for information about the likely outcome, just in case.
