How long have you ladies been TTC-ing ?

I am 25 years old and this is my 7th month of TTC.  At what point should I get myself tested ? Most of my friends doesn't have this problem, they all got pregnant really quick somehow and I feel very alone and I don't know what to do. My husband doesnt have any problem with his sperms, he already took the test at the hospital, so the problem must be me then ?? I wanted to go to the fertility centre but my husband told me to wait but should I wait on this matter ?

Most OBGYNs will make you wait 12 months before they starter testing. My husband and and I have been TTC going on 15 months. Turns out, I had endometrial polyps and my doctor said my ovaries look polycystic, so I show signs of PCOS. I've had surgery to remove the polyps and started my first round of Clomid to make sure I'm ovulating each month. Hoping this month is a go! Keep the faith, and don't stress.

We have been trying 5 years. Normal healthy couples can take up to a year to get pregnant. I went in after two years of getting negative tests. I have PCOS, fibroid tumors and a thyroid imbalance...Went on and tried different meds for 2 years but most of them only made me sick with no luck..I can't take anything that messes too much with my hormones because I have epilepsy and one of the types of seizures I get is caused by hormones fluctuating...I would get tested after a year of negative tests..I wish I would have gone in sooner so that i could have found out what was wrong sooner..

I am 25 also. This is my 8th month of TTC, my husband also has a semen analysis because he had a varicocele and his sperm is great. I went in to my doctor because my periods were averaging 45-55 days and I had never had a positive OPK. This is my first cycle on Clomid. If going to your doctor would help ease your stress then I would suggest it. Everyone is different and some people, like myself, like to know that even though it may take longer everything looks good and you aren't waiting a year to find out there was a problem.

I have been trying since feb. Last month i got diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism which was the reason i was not able to conceive. I have started taking medicines now. Fingers crossed. 😊

I made the mistake of comparing myself to my friends and it didn't help when my wife was asking her fellow lesbian friends about their efforts TTC. I think it only adds to the disappointment when AF shows or you get a BFN. I'm 25 and healthy for the most part so it's definitely discouraging but don't give up! It will happen when the time is right!

Don't compare yourself to your friends, everyone is different. It could depend on what contraception you were on and how long it takes to get out your system after stopping it. Also you may ovulate earlier or later than usual. Your SO will also be different to theirs. 7 months isn't that long, stay positive!! They say after 12 months get tested. Have you tried vitamins and gels? Baby dust to you✨✨
