Home birth vs hospital birth

Hi everyone!

I am undecided about what type of birth experience I am looking for at this time. I am not asking to be swayed in either direction. I am still doing my research. However I would love to hear your personal experiences from the two. If anyone can share Their experience either positive or negative in both the home environment and in a hospital environment, please do. Also the experiences with a midwife versus an obgyn. Home and midwife seems more comfortable while obgyn in an hospital seems more "safe."
