Using hcg levels to determine how far along you may be can be wildly inaccurate lol. There are such wide ranges for each week. 

That's really irresponsible doctoring. The job of a doctor is to interpret results (among other things). Find a new doctor! Also, HCG isn't all that accurate for dating, you'll really need a scan for that. 

Why would your doctor tell you to "figure out online" how far along you are? He/she doesn't sound like a very good doctor😳 Hcg levels are different for a lot of women. Some rise quicker and higher than others, so it's not a really good indication of how far along you are. The only sure way to know is by ultrasound so they can measure the baby/sac.
