Did sex really help to induce labor?

Did anyone have sex right before you went into labor? And if so were you dilated? I'm really desperate.

Yes! I was dilated at 3 cm & had sex on a Sunday night & right after my contractions started! I had my daughter Monday morning at 7:48!

We had sex before hand and the seamen is what makes you start contracting like potosin or whatever it is ( the stuff they give you to induce labor) so I was dialated early... So yes if you start having sex all the time you will start contracting and it will help you out lol

With my 2nd, I was 40+2, had sex about 11, woke with contractions at 2:45am, and delivered at 5:13am.

Yup, the semen mixed with my own orgasm put me in labor. The first time wasn't on purpose at about 32 weeks. .that put me at 5cm dilated and 75% effaced. After that we did not do that mix until I was overdue and had my daughter the next morning.

I was dilated 2 and it helped my contractions regulate. The next morning I was admitted to labor and delivery
