Saliva ferning after ovulation?

Hey ladies. I am about 6dpo today..I haven't been checking this everyday but noticed lots of ferning on saliva microscope this morning...I'm going to hold off on foods/drinks later and check again. Apparently ferning only occurs when estrogen is surging.. I had ferning around and when I ovulated (I'm about 6dpo.. I had positive opk on 8/21 and bbt went up tues morning) from what I've read this could mean hormonal imbalance and/or pcos (I have no pcos symptoms)..or could possibly mean bfp??
