What did you do today 😂

My SO got home the other day I wasn't feeling good so I told him to give our son a bath and he responded you don't do anything anymore 😐( he always gets home to a clean house a cooked dinner ) yesterday he got home I was on the couch watching tv (the house was not clean and i didnt cook dinner )he said what did you do today I said NOTHING! Lol 
Then apologized to me and went to get us food ...
I hate it when I'm told that I don't do anything all day but let's face it ladies without us a house isn't really a home we are the ones that make sure things are clean we provide cooked meals every night and deal with kids I do give credit to the men that do help around tho it's rare 😂

Without my husband my house would be a mess, my kids not fed, and little things not done. I'm not saying I'm lazy. But who else is going to feed them breakfast and lunch, give them naps, play with them, clean the house and cook dinner all while I go to work. I do household chores after work, help with dinner, bathe kids etc. but during the day when I'm at work it leaves him.

Just saying a house is not home just because of us ladies. It's takes us both, but I'm also with you because I know how much my husband does during the day and appreciate it. I would probably freak out if nothing was done all day while I went to work.

My SO has a habit of making me feel guilty when he's doing chores for ONCE! I ended up hiring a cleaning professional because I cannot do the hard cleaning and apparently it's such a chore for him to help out when he works all day. I'm so sorry I worked my whole day, came home to cook you dinner, am making your baby, and did all of the shopping by myself! Give me a break! Don't make me feel guilty when I FINALLY lay down on the couch at 8pm after being at work since 6am.

Hubby is a DVM, I'm a CVT. We both worked 12-hour days every day, so household duties were shared. He cooks, he cleans the kitchen and floors, I took care of the laundry, bedrooms, and animals. But now that I'm pregnant I can't work so I'm home all the time, and it's driving me insane. I HATE housework and I HATE being a homebody. I miss work! LOL!

I donno..my husband is in the Army and works from 5am to 5pm or later every weekday. I work full time as well but in a much less demanding job where I am mainly working from home.

He's the main breadwinner and never makes a peep about the $$ I spend, or if the house is spotless when he comes home but I do honestly feel like it's more my responsibility than his to pick up most of the domestic duties slack. I wouldn't want to switch roles w him and be back in the Army (I'm a veteran too) and I know he doesn't want to sweep the floors or fold the laundry. I donno it works for us 😜

Cleaning is so exhausting while pregnant- I have to take a break after 30 minutes and it just makes me so angry when my husband doesn't help me now. Everything seems so overwhelming. And I want to work on the nursery and he's been pissing me off by making me ask 10 times for him to clean all his crap out of that room too.
