Rice cereal ?

Question

People keep telling me to give my baby rice cereal cuz he's not getting full. Putting like a teaspoon in a bottle ..  Any opionons of if this is dangerous or a good idea ? He's 3 months now but he was premature. Due July 14. Born May 31st. But he's doing great just eating a lot.

My pediatrician told us to do it at 5 weeks because of how much my guy was eating! 40-50 ounces a day! We do a 1/4 a teaspoon per ounce so one teaspoon in a 4 ounce bottle. It has helped him get fuller and stay fuller longer. He was eating every hour and now eats every two, or 4 hours at night.... It's also helped with his reflux! I was super nervous to do it at first but my pediatrician assured me it was safe in this small amount.

I have an almost 2 month old and was told to do this for bad reflux. I was told to make the flakes into a very fine powder (blender) and it's 1/2 teaspoon per 1oz. I would assume you should do tha same instructions if you are going to administer but I'd ask you baby's PED.

My baby is 5 weeks 3 days old and I just started giving him rice cereal as of couple days ago.  And he seems to be doing fine , I'm finally getting about 5 hours of sleep now instead of 2 or 3
