Dehydration in pregnancy?

Is it normal to be dehydrated during pregnancy? Not real sure if I actually am, but I got a cramp in my foot and it said its caused from dehydration so I was curious.

It's very common. Make sure you're drinking enough water. Obs recommend 5 bottles a day. No energy drinks, they're bad for baby. And drinks like Powerade doesn't actually help with dehydration.

Charlie horses and leg cramps are pretty common during pregnancy. I started drinking Gatorade every other day or when I work (12 hr shifts ER nurse). It really helped decrease my cramps most likely due to the electrolytes.

Cramp is caused by lack of salt. try and drink some energy drinks  (electrolytes not caffeine) it should help

I happens often because pregnant women tend to not drink enough water. I was one that did not drink as much so what I did was have a big Mason jar filled with water by my side at all times. If you get bored of water there are other things you can drink.

Yes, you have to drink way more water while your pregnant. I always get a lecture from the nurses lol

Yes. I only drink water. And I could not stay hydrated when I was pregnant with my daughter. I'm the type of person who makes sure her pee is clear. It was hardly ever clear and it drove me crazy.
