I was talking to one of my friends, im 19 & just recently started having sex, that if i were to become pregnant that i wouldnt tell anyone not even my fwb & take care of it myself. She got offended by this because i wouldnt tell her if i was. I don't think im wrong i don't have to tell her but she said she would want to know & help me & i said i wouldnt want my friends help. Id rather deal with it on my own & tell the people i want to after. Am i wrong for that?

Sounds like you want to be on a high horse but in reality you will need help at one point and it's obvious that at some point in your pregnancy they will know. Also, the dad has every right to know. There are some shady women who will wait until they need money yrs later than take the man to court knowing he will owe so much.

No it's your choice, she shouldn't be mad I mean it's fine but just tell her about it when it's time and you feel comfortable if it ever happened, but that's just me. Hope this helped!

There could be times you want or need the help it truly does take a village to raise a child and the childs father has every right to know he has a child thats a low blow to say you wont tell him thats his child to not just yours you cant be selfish just because you want to do it on your own come down off that high horse until you get pregnant and raise one of your own you dont know what you will and wont do children dont come with instructions you wont know everything

You aren't wrong but like someone said before, you should tell the father. He deserves to know and have a say-so in what happens. I've know a few guys who've gotten their girl pregnant(even FWB) and the girl didn't tell till after and they were really extremely hurt by it. It's just the decent thing to do.
