I need advice!

My boyfriend and I believe I am pregnant. I have an appointment Friday to confirm, but I am having some abdominal pain. And my boyfriend is freaking out thinking I should see the doctor sooner. What should I do? Is some abdominal pain normal or should I worry about a miscarriage? He is making me so nervous. Please help!
