Is this car seat safe?

Question

We were given a travel pack that includes a stroller and a car seat with a removable base. It's from graco, the snug ride classic connect 30
However I just did some research to see if it was okay for me to use and I found this 
However the model I have was made after may 2013, it was made September 2013 
I also found this

And this is the buckle on this car seat

I'm just curious if it's safe for me to use?

Graco will send you a band new buckle to install for free. Call them and give them the serial number. They will be able to tell you.

Oh but btw. Great seat. I have the click connect 35. Used it with my oldest and will with this baby too. (Oldest is only 2!)

The buckles look exactly the same but aren't. I promise.

Call Graco. They have two different sets that were recalled. Call them for sure.

You should be good. The dates are different and my understanding is the buckle you already have is the one they converted to. I had 2 seats I had to get new buckles for and they looked just like yours

I would say the carseat is pretty safe just contact the company and get the new buckle

Also they can send you a new buckle but you'll have to lie and say you bought it from the store. I had to do that last year

I say it is safe. The only reason they recalled the buckle was because it was getting stuck and if you called the company they sent a new one if yours was recalled.

If it's a pumpkin seat you're fine cause you can take the car seat out. It's the convertible car seats that needed new buckles
