1. I was on the couch in the livingroom and I couldn't stir myself. I heard my back door open, then steps across the linoleum floor in the kitchen, then the hardwood floor in the dining room towards me. I finally woke at the last possible second and I started breathing again. I have sleep apnea and this happens about 50% when I sleep on my sides, 100% if I'm on my back. One day I know I'm going to die like that. Not from a intruder but from me suffocating while I'm dreaming of my end.
2. I've had [sleep paralysis] happen to me many times. At first it was just demon like figures just standing in the corners of my room, but then it felt like a thin being slid into my bed and tried to snuggle me. It wrapped it's hands around my waist and what feels like a skeleton with claws spoons me while I'm just stuck there. This continues the second and third time until it tried to kiss behind my ear. It whispered "Not yet. You're not ready yet, but I'll come back when you are." to me then. It sounded disappointed and excited. This thing told me it would come back for me like I would die and it scared the shit out of me. 18 months of this and one night I woke up and figured it would be the same demon shit, but I saw a man sitting on the side of my bed. He was pleasant and smiled like a parent watching his child. He told me it would be ok, like he would watch after me. I call him my guardian angel now.
3. I saw a woman in my door, then she got on all fours and climbed onto my bed. She was fucking hideous too like she was decaying right in front of me? She was cold and all I could do was look at her. She started stroking my face, then the stokes turned to rubbing, then clawing and then she reached into my chest and pulled my heart out and I couldn't breathe. I started thrashing until I woke up screaming, which made my friend come into my room and I just told him my story. I was afraid to sleep for days after that. It was so real.
5. The first time a dark figure whispered some nursery rhyme in my ear, it was weird because it said it loud enough but I could only hear it in one ear. The second time there was a bunch of people around me stabbing me and I woke up screaming and my husband took me to the hospital. My appendix had burst.
6. I hallucinated my brother was in my doorway and I was talking to him. He was just listening to me and it was daytime. It was a pleasant conversation but he was looking at his phone which kind of annoyed me. Then suddenly it was dark in my room with just my lamp on illuminating the room like it always did at night, my brother was looking at me and he was bloodied and shaking hard. He looked pained and angry I couldn't really tell which. I woke up gasping for air and did it mention he's been dead for 8 years? He died in a crash.
4. [Personal] My first experience with SP was at my friends house. I was 12 and we slept in her bed. I "woke up" and there was dead animals loping around the bed and in and out of the room. I couldn't move my face or eyes but there was bob cats and coyotes based on what I could see. They smelled rancid but there was no sound at all, which terrified me the most for some reason. I felt air and hair brush my hand when one trotted by. I noticed my friend was gone too at that point. Then I saw a bobcat walking on the ceiling until it was above me. It's head twisted around and looked into my eyes. It might sound dumb but it was so real. The second time I was in my own bed and, long story short, I'm still not 100% sure if I was suffering SP that night or I was actually molested by my step father. It never happened again.
