If the guy you have been dating tells you I love you over text. Would you validate that?

If the guy you have been dating for 2 months tells you " I love you" and "my mind and heart fully loves you" over text would you validate that?...

I would not, because to me is impersonal to say those words over text,  unless he tells you face to face when he sees you. Please comment.

He might be afraid of telling you face to face.. So he told u there first to kinda see how u would react.

I think it depends on the frequency you text each other. If you text 95% of the time and talk on the phone 5% I would accept it because that's what he's been given.

He should first say it to you face to face. But if he's said it before face to face then it's fine for him to say it in txt as long as he still says it face to face.

I feel like some guys are shy about that and they test the waters to see your response. If you responded nicely, he will most likely tell you in person next time you see him. If you were mean about it, he probably won't say it again for a while.
