Is this considered rape?

Just recently, I told me boyfriend that I didn't want to try again for another baby just yet. Now fast foward a week later, while we were sleeping he asked me for a blow job. I was out of it and didn't really respond at all. I then recall him mumbling something as he was pulling down my underwear.

All I remember is I was pushing his legs with my hands as to push him off (I think) and he grabbed my arms and held them.

Not sure if it was rape, but I distinctly told him I didn't want to try for another baby right now, which caused an argument and thus delayed sex, and he had unprotected sex with me anyways.

I don't remember saying anything, but it was around 4 or 5 am because my alarm started going off shortly after. I wasn't completely out of it, but I was noncoherent and half asleep. I really didn't want to have sex

I wouldnt write it off as rape just yet. Now that you are fully awake I would suggest you sit him down and have a serious conversation. He needs to know that you werent okay with it at all. That he needs to respect that if you dont want it dont just do it anyways. You need to keep an open line of communication. If he cant respect that he isnt respecting you. Then if you feel you dont want to put up with it end it.

It's not about labeling it "rape" or "not rape." It's about how you feel about what happened.

Nobody deserves to be treated like a blow up doll, especially not by someone they love and trust. I'm really sorry that you had this experience.

I think you should make sure he knows that his behavior was not ok and that you won't tolerate it in the future. You may be a couple, a team, etc, but your body still belongs first and foremost to you, and he needs to understand that.
