Genetic testing, who did it, who didn't?

This is my fourth natural birth and sixth child total, I have never done the testing before and declined it again last appointment. I am 35 now though and am wondering if I should do it.

This is my 7th baby.. I've never done it before now.. I was never even offered before now.. I'm 33.. I guess maybe it's standard now.. Very simple.. I got an extra chance to see the baby.. Even told me the sex at an early stage.. Its nice knowing a healthy baby is growing.. More pluses then minuses..

I did it only because my son was showing a thickened Nuchal translucency and that's a risk indication of trisomy disorders or down syndrome and my husband and I wanted to be prepared for what the future held. And we found out the sex way early which was just a plus considering the news we had just endured.

i because 1.) i wanted to know the sex and 2.) i will not have an issue if baby has a mild chromosomal disorder like Down's syndrome but they test for a lot more than just that and there are disorders that have a life expectancy of an hour. if that is what the case would be i would like to be prepared to know my baby won't make it after i deliver. i will still carry to term but I won't invest in things for their future, if that makes sense

First pregnancy and 29.  Hubby wanted me to do it but I honestly do not hold much stock in it.  Only did non-invasive and refused additional invasive tests.

I just got mine done. We got the results in less than a week. The company was Harmony, we also were able to find out the gender of the baby 😍

My husband I decided against it. I'm young, and not in a huge risk group. Plus, I would love my child no matter what. I don't want to worry myself over nothing.m, as I already have a tendency to worry.

I'm tempted to just because I have a downsyndrom cousin and would like to know but the whole false positive stuff has me on the fence about it

First baby, I did not do it. Doesn't change and thing for me, and the false positive rate sounds like possible unnecessary stress

I actually have done it with my last two. I declined this time around for my third but then my husband got bad at me for declining it so then I went to the doctor to tell them otherwise. 😂 but unfortunately, maternal medicine never called me and it went past the cut of week for the testing.. So this time no. I didn't do it this time!
