I went into the doc yesterday and I have elevated blood pressure. They sent me to the hospital to do further testing to rule out preeclampsia. Everything came back great and I was sent home. My concern is that I was told by the doc that they don't want me going over 39 weeks (I'm currently 38). They will induce if I get that far. They checked my cervix at the hospital and I am not dilated at all. She said that if they were to induce, because I am not dilated, it could take days for me to deliver and there is a 50/50 it would end up in cesarean. My husband and I have done everything we can do to plan for a natural birth. My question is, how fast did you dilate? I hoping there is a chance I won't need to be induced and that I can dilate naturally. Thank you!
