Lamp or light?

Question

I know this may sound silly but when I go into the babies room to change him or feed him in the middle of the night if I turn the whole light on I feel like it will really wake him and he won't go back to sleep should I get a lamp ?

I use Himilayian salt lamps throughout my home, so That's what I'll be using. It's a nice soft relaxing light, and they have a lot of benefits as well. 😌

We had a little push light that we hung on the wall above the changing table. I feel like at first it doesn't really make a difference because babies sleep through a lot. But as he got older it helped.

I turn the closet light on and keep the door mostly closed

I got a little lamp because I thought the same thing, but I'm a ftm so I'm not sure if it actually makes a difference or not yet lol
