tell me there's hope😫

Has anyone successfully weaned their baby from bf to formula? Mine has only had breast milk for the last 4 months and today I attempted to give him oatmeal mixed with formula (I have nothing pumped or frozen) and he didn't like the taste at all lol then later tried to give him formula in a bottle (he's taken the bottle well since he was a newborn) and again, he didn't like the taste. Has anyone gone through this and the baby eventually adjusts??
