Just started period after depo shot

Okay ladies, please don't worry me about how bad the depo is. I already know how badly it has affected others. I'm trying to find the best method for me. I got the shot on the 11th earlier this month. I had some raging hormones the first week. I was hungry, angry, emotional. But eventually it stopped. A little over two weeks go by (after being 16 days late) I finally get what I believe is my period. Heavy, and that's normal for me. But I'm now worried that I will never stop bleeding. Btw I just started today so I'm just hoping I don't bleed for months straight. But for a while I completely forgot I was even on depo. If has gone great so far. Now my worries have returned now that I started the bleeding. Because that was my main worry when I got it. (Whole point is to have sex.) I'm crossing my fingers I'm one of the few this shot works for. Give me your input!
