Oh how these long nights make you think

If we could only see souls... if we could learn to understand that actions have just as much or more power than words to make or break the people we love.. would we still be doing some of the things we do now? Would we still be willing to hurt the ones we love for our own selfishness? When will we learn to put our loved ones first... when will we learn to start practicing what we preach? When will we have had enough of our own sinful ways?
