Hopes for pregnancy at 16? Please give insight

So my family sees me as an angel and I'm supposed to be this perfect doll. But ... All I want and all I've ever wanted was to be a stay at home mom and have my own kids and husband so I can give them a better child hood than I ever had. I'm getting emancipated in 2 1/2 months when I turn 16 (not just so I can get pregnant no.. it's because of family issues) and I'm in a really good relationship right now and he has his own place and a good paying job. So when I do get emancipated I'm probably gonna get my own life and family started. I just wanna know if I should be second guessing myself... Am I ready for a child mentally? Definitely. Am I ready for a child physically? I'm gonna start taking vitamins and eating healthy and what not so my body will be ready. I'm the most mature 16 year old you'll ever meet I'm sure of it. I basically raised my parents as they were and are battling addiction. I'm ready to stop focusing and putting all my life in to a never ending cycle and start MY life and let them figure out theirs. Please tell me any insight you have, thank you so much!

Do not. You have to finish school first, get established w/ yourself first so you won't have to depend on the father or the state to help you. Travel the world, enjoy your twenties! You're not even old enough to drink yet, babe! Please! Live your life first. A baby will come when it's time. It's not time right now. You have your entire life ahead of you! Take this advice from women who's been through it. Babies change relationships as well. You may feel like he loves you but a baby will definitely make a difference in your relationship. Let him marry you first and get some years under your belt together. Just grow first! I'm not judging you, I've just been there and done that ! Ya know?!

Honestly, I don't think you should try for a baby at 16. I got pregnant when I was 16. I'm 17 now still pregnant and it is hard. You need to get. Job and finish school before you try !!

Girl live your life. I've wanted kids my WHOLE life, and I'm so excited to be pregnant now, at 28, but let me tell you, pregnancy is no joke. Motherhood is not pretty. The toll it takes on your body and emotions is incredible. The restrictions it places on your life are endless.

You have so much growing to do yourself - no matter how mature you think you are, or how much stress and pressure life has put on you so far, your brain won't stop developing until you're 22. By the time you're 20, you're going to be a whole new person. And again by the time you're 25.

You owe it to yourself to just be 16 for a while. Have fun. Do crazy stupid things. Make memories. Create wild stories about your youth you can share with your kids one day. Travel. Spoil yourself. Focus on you for now, let kids come into your life later.

You don't want to wake up one day, realize you never let yourself live and find yourself resenting your kids.

Be patient. You have your whole life. Make sure you live it. 💕

It sounds like you have things figured out for yourself; so if you're confident in the decisions that you want to make, then I don't think that you should second guess yourself. (Let alone ask for insight from women who I'm sure will tell you that you're too young to make the choices that you want to make.)

Being mentally and physically ready for a baby is great and all but think about the financial aspect. Your boyfriend probably has enough money to take care of him and maybe you but does he have enough to support you, himself, AND a baby. Don't have a baby if you can't support it.

Honey you may think you're ready but you have a lot going for you. Don't get regnant now. It's a lot of work to take care of s baby. I'm the same age and I want a baby too. I wanna build a family with my boyfriend. So I know where you're coming from kinda. But you have to understand that you also have to financially support the baby and you're just too young to have one right now. Wait until you're at least in your 20's. It won't be the fairy tale you'd thought it'd be having a baby at a young age. It's a lot of hard work. And you need to focus on school. No one can tell you how to live your life what you do is on you. But think about the consequences. And think about what's best for you. And the nonexistent baby.

I was 33 when I had my first baby (I'm 34 almost 35 now) and even then I didn't feel ready to have a baby. Looking back, no way was I ready at 16.

And you might think, well, I'm just more mature than you or whatever....but, no. I have the insight of being able to analyze and evaluate my life to know that I wasn't ready.

Could you have a baby at 16 and do a decent job? Yeah. No doubt. But, we're talking about taking care of another human life and giving him/her the best role model possible. That's someone who is educated, experienced and emotionally mature. This is going to sound condescending but is not trying to be condescending- you will understand when you are older.

Don't. Of course if you are already pregnant (do not get an abortion) but, if you haven't ttc then continue not to! You change so much as a person from when you are 16 through your 20's. I thought I wanted a baby when I was 18 but, I am glad that I listened to my second thoughts..just recently got married, in my 20's and not started to ttc. Wait!
