Help!!! Your thoughts???

My period is due in about 4 to 5 days. Last night around 10pm i went to the bathroom and had the tinest spotting only on the toilet paper. It didn't look like period blood at all. At 3am I went again and it was there. At 7am I went and it was gone and has been gone ever since. I had weird cramping like pinching on and off. Could this be implantion or am I just getting my hopes up???
