I didn't know you weren't supposed to eat before. I've had an apple and a banana... think that's fine? Or should I go another day

My doc advised me to eat before mine... just not a bunch of carbs. He said that people who don't eat usually end up with nausea, vomiting and/or dizziness.

For the one hour you are suppose to eat as normal before. It is not a fasting blood draw. Although I ate a carby meal and went on to fail but I passed the three hour with flying colors. You'll be just fine

My midwife told me I was allowed to eat before the 1hr. I had it today. She did say to just eat a lot of protein. Just got my results and I passed.
