Advice for new belly button piercing?

When I first got mine I would use a shot glass with warm water a bit of sea salt and put it on my belly for around 3 minutes then I would wipe it dry. It heals really quick and nicely if you take care of it well 

only clean with soap and water, don't touch or play with it!!! and be super aware of blankets, shirts and towels

Antibacterial Dial Hand Soap is what I used. Push your piercing back and forth in the hole to make sure the insides all clean too. And rinse really good. Other than that, just avoid tight clothes on your belly because that will hurt so bad

I used a saline solution (h2ocean, you can get it at your local hot topic) it cleans it very well as long as you move the piercing around to make sure the solution gets in there. Also don't wear tight clothing, the piercing needs to breath, and if you see that it has moved from its original position don't freak out. It happens, it's just settling into a better spot. Lastly, bellybutton piercings take 6 months up to a year to fully heal since it heals from the inside out instead of the other way around. Don't take out your piercing until you know for sure it's healed, just read up on the piercing and how to care for it in other ways. 

I used witch hazel and saline solution on mine(and the rest of my piercings) but certainly don't play with it, except for turning it a couple of times a day.
