Sti/std throat issues

Okay so this is going to sound Extremely stupid because it is stupid.... about 2 years ago i was in a very serious relationship and had oral sex and only oral sex and after i had oral sex i got very sick and the doctor had told me i had tonsillitis, but that whole year i was keep getting it like i was always sick always going to the doctors office, i also had mono though so idk i guess im posting because im always getting bumps and viruses in my mouth and its been 2 years Should i get tested?
